Seattle Catrinas Festival, Celebrating The Day of the Dead.

Every day of the Seattle Catrinas Festival:

*During the family annual Catrinas Festival the public is invited to bring pictures, flowers, candles, and mementos of loved ones to place on the giant altar decorated with flowers, folk art and “ofrendas”.

*Street market full of local entrepreneurs offering a large number of traditional food, face painting, handcrafted, art and many items more plus Día de los Muertos ambiance music by DJ Oscar Cortes.

*Permanent giant altar by our cultural and art department.

*Permanent altar dedicated to Jews killed during the holocaust by our cultural and art department.

*The museum of The Unforgettable.

*Directly from Mexico, “Día de Muertos” handmade art exposition by Sofia Castellanos Art.

*Directly from Mexico, over 200 Catrinas, all handmade by Mexican families in Mexico.

*Directly from Mexico, world renowned sculpture and artist Mr. Hermes Arroyo will be putting together a beautiful and spectacular exposition of giant skulls, handmade and painted, called Seagiantskulls.

*Living statues by artists Monserrat Diaz and Ramon Solano, directly from Mexico City.

*Photo gallery exposition from Seattle Catrinas Festival 2022 edition by our photographers’ members.

*Photo booth with live Catrinas and Catrines.

*Photo booth with our famous “Mojigangas” Frida and Pepe.

*Kids’ workshops with Memo Plastilina.

*Mexican bingo, called “Loteria” by Memo Plastilina.

*Danza Azteca by Nahui Ollin Tezcatlipocatl.

*International show called “Unforgettable”, this is a two and a half hours unique cultural and artistic show by:

Seattle Catrinas Festival production department and includes:

The famous live Catrinas Procession.

Ballet Folklorico Fuego Nuevo from San Jose, CA.

Female and male Mariachi Estrella de Mexico directly from Guadalajara, Jalisco.

This show will be starting at 630 PM every day.

*A Magic Night, every night of the festival at 900 PM, we will be closing festival activities with a show called Magic Night.

General tickets are $30.00 and includes all activities. No in and out privileges.

VIP tickets are available for $40.00 and included all activities, VIP bracelet with in and out privileges, no waiting line to enter the venue, no waiting line to enter to the museum of the Unforgettable, better seating area (close to the stage) and the opportunity to be part of our famous Procession (very limited, first to call first to serve bases).

Kids 3 years old and under are free.

Cada día del Seattle Catrinas Festival:

*Durante el Festival familiar anual de Catrinas, se invita al público a traer fotografías, flores, velas y recuerdos de sus seres queridos para colocarlos en el altar gigante decorado con flores, arte popular y ofrendas.

*Mercado callejero lleno de emprendedores locales que ofrecen una gran cantidad de comida tradicional, pinta caras, artesanía, arte y muchos artículos más, además de música ambiental del Día de los Muertos por DJ Oscar Cortés.

*Altar gigante y permanente por nuestro departamento de cultural y de arte.

*Altar permanente dedicado a los judíos asesinados durante el holocausto por nuestro departamento cultural y artístico.

*El museo de lo Inolvidable.

*Directamente desde México, exposiciones de arte y pintura dedicada al “Día de Muertos” a cargo de Sofia Castellanos Art.

*Directamente desde México, más de 200 Catrinas, todas hechas a mano por familias mexicanas en México.

*Directamente desde México, el escultor y artista de renombre mundial, el Sr. Hermes Arroyo, estará organizando una hermosa y espectacular exposición de calaveras gigantes, hechas y pintadas a mano, llamada “Seagiantskulls”.

*Estatuas vivientes a cargo de los artistas Monserrat Díaz y Ramón Solano, directamente desde la Ciudad de México.

*Exposición de la galería de fotos de la edición 2022 del Seattle Catrinas Festival por parte de nuestros miembros fotógrafos.

*Cabina para tomarte fotografías con Catrinas y Catrines en vivo.

*Cabina para tomarte fotografías con nuestras famosas “Mojigangas” Frida y Pepe.

*Talleres infantiles con Memo Plastilina.

*Lotería con Memo Plastilina.

*Danza Azteca a cargo de Nahui Ollin Tezcatlipocatl.

*Espectáculo internacional denominado “Inolvidable”, se trata de un espectáculo cultural y artístico de una duración de dos horas y media a cargo de:Departamento de producción del Festival de las Catrinas en Seattle e incluye:La famosa Procesión de Catrinas en vivo.Ballet Folclórico Fuego Nuevo de San Jose, CA.Mariachi Estrella de México mixto directamente desde Guadalajara, Jalisco. Este espectáculo comenzará a las 630 p. m. todos los días.

*Una Noche Mágica, todas las noches del festival a las 21:00 horas, estaremos cerrando las actividades del festival con un espectáculo llamado Noche Mágica.

Los boletos generales cuestan $30.00 e incluyen todas las actividades. Sin privilegios de entrada y salida.

Los boletos VIP están disponibles por $40.00 e incluyen todas las actividades, brazalete VIP con privilegios de entrada y salida, sin fila de espera para ingresar al lugar, sin fila de espera para ingresar al museo de lo Inolvidable, mejor área de asientos (cerca del escenario) y la oportunidad de ser parte de nuestra famosa Procesión (muy limitada).
